Mexican takeaway now open in Inverness city centre
A new food takeaway offering is now open in the city centre.
Los Burrito opened its doors today serving up Mexican cuisine, including items such as nachos, burritos and quesadillas to name a few.
Open from 12pm–6pm for those looking for a bite to eat on the High Street, it will not disappoint – we know, we tried and tested! It hopes to begin operating a delivery service in the next few weeks.
Owner Paul Douglas says they have had a great first day, and they have received a good response from locals.
Commenting he said: "It's been brilliant. We are really happy with how its gone, and we have been busy throughout the day.
"We are looking forward to when we can do delivery and we have already had quite a few enquiries about it today."
This is Mr Douglas' first business, but he has worked in hospitality for over 20 years. When asked why he decided to provide Mexican food to the city centre, he replied gleefully: "Because who doesn't like Mexican food?!"
He has also made sure that Los Burrito is welcoming for the many tourists that come to the heart of the Highlands, by setting up a QR code where the menu can be downloaded into 175 different languages.
