New ice cream and dessert shop opens in Inverness

A new dessert and ice cream shop has opened up in Inverness.

Kreamz Desserts is based on Tomnahurich Street, and is scooping up a variety of offerings for customers.

Owner Kashif Ali, has now had the shop open for a week, however it has been a long-time coming.

He said: "We've had this space for over a year now, but it has taken longer to open that we planned. We had an opportunity to open another shop in Glasgow so we got that one sorted first, and now we have been able to open this.

"We've now been open a week in Inverness and we are just getting everything set up. We are training up staff and getting the online system set up, so we can focus on deliveries."

Customers can get everything from ice cream to waffles to bubble tea to nachos and hot dogs.

Speaking about the offering, Mr Ali said: "We have a wee bit of everything for everyone. When I go to dessert shops with my family they want something sweet but I want something savoury, so we are trying to provide as many options as possible.We will add more items to the menu as we go on."

Mr Ali has had a good response from people so far, and he is still getting bits and pieces together for the shop.

He decided to open the shop in Inverness as he worked in the city when he was younger and feels that it is a good market for his product.

Kreamz Desserts will be open from 3pm - 10pm throughout winter, seven days a week.
