UPDATE: Teen (16) arrested in connection with 'attempted murder' after Inverness officers almost struck by car

Detectives in Inverness are appealing for information after an incident occurred on Sunday, 10 March in the High Street, Inverness.

At around 12.30am police officers were on mobile patrol when a silver Subaru car drove in a dangerous manner towards them.

This caused the officers to take evasive action to avoid being struck.

The Subaru then continued along the High Street onto Eastgate then exited onto Crown Road before going left onto Academy Street.

Detective Constables at Inverness said: "Our enquiries are on-going whereby we are continuing to gather and study CCTV from in and around the local area to assist us in establishing more information on this crime.

"If you were in the area at the time or have dash-cam footage that may assist our investigation, please contact 101.
