Two people have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision on the A95 north of Aviemore today.

Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene of the accident, near the road’s junction with the A9, at around 3.30pm.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 3.30pm on Friday, 3 May, 2024, police were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A95 at the junction with the A9 at Granish, near Aviemore.

“Two individuals were conveyed to hospital for assessment and recovery was arranged.”

The road is understood to remain partially closed.

A spokesman for Traffic Scotland said: “The A9 at Granish, near Aviemore, is currently restricted on the southbound offslip due to a road traffic accident.

“Road users are advised to use caution on approach and allow extra time for their journey.”
