A former professional footballer who launched his own football academy has set up a new branch in Africa which is helping to improve the lives of children.

The Inverness based Mark Holmes Football Academy has launched a new football school in Ghana which has around 200 members.

As well as teaching children football skills, it is also providing accommodation and education to homeless kids by taking them off the streets and improving their lives.
