Clachnacuddin look to create new stars

Clachnacuddin are looking to create a conveyor belt of football talent in Inverness and the Highlands which they hope can go to play at the highest level they can.

The Highland League outfit have almost 200 youth players on its books that are playing at various age levels and competitions.

And the club celebrated the success of their youngsters at the Youth Development Player of the Year Awards held at the Kingsmills Hotel last weekend.

Links between the youth and senior teams have grown closer in recent seasons and youth coach Rob Macleod said there is a real effort at the club to help players realise their potential whether they play for Clach or go on to play elsewhere.
