Clachnacuddin manager Iain Polworth says he will be looking to replace the defensive hole that has been left by Martin MacDonald who has gone to join Highland League rivals Rothes.

He is also aiming to tie-up a number of players for the Lilywhites next season as they look to improve on last year’s disappointing campaign.

He says one of his main priorities is to find a replacement for MacDonald who played a big part in an impressive end to the season for Clach despite them finishing in 12th place, one place lower than in the previous campaign.

But he also wants to make sure that he has a squad in place which can meet his minimum aim of at least a top half finish.
