Disabled boxers show they can be a knockout

Disabled people made their debut in the ring when they took up the chance to train at a boxing club for the first time.

Service users from Cheshire House were invited down to Inverness City Boxing Club in Merkinch to have the opportunity to look around the facility where some of the city’s top fighters train and prepare for their bouts.

The Inverness home and the boxing club have developed a special relationship since the coaches and boxers visited the residents in March and taught them some training skills.

The original event was organised by Cheshire House volunteer co-ordinator Jill Murray.
