Nairn County confirm appointment of four new directors to the board at Station Park as Highland League club strengthen foundations for the future
Nairn County have confirmed the appointment of six new directors to their board with immediate effect.
Ronald M. Gordon, Declan Flynn, Tom Monteith and Brian Sherret have been appointment along with club chairman Kevin Reid and management committee member, Gordy Stewart, who will both fulfil dual roles.
Mr Gordon is a director at John Gordon and Son, a softwood timber sawmiller and Nairn family business, who are generous supporters of the Station Park club. He is also a previous player for Nairn County and Nairn St Ninian.
Mr Flynn is a retired senior international banking professional who settled in Nairn in 2018, and is currently a director at Nairn Citizens Advice Bureau and president at Nairn Rotary Club.
Mr Monteith is a director/solicitor at Monteith Solicitors and is a member of the Law Society of Scotland. He was schooled in Nairn and returned to the area 15 years ago to continue his successful law career.
Mr Sherret is a retired business consultant, who established GHRL Consultants. He was previously a Board member of Inverness Port and Inverness Chamber of Commerce.

Commenting on the appointments, club chairman Kevin Reid said: "I am delighted to welcome the four new appointments on to the board of directors.
"This significantly strengthens our board, who have a clear purpose on policing the management committee and also creating a long-term strategy for the club, focussing on some key items, which we are keen to develop.
"It is really pleasing for us to add four new, high-level individuals to the club. They will all bring different expertise to the board and have all excelled in their chosen careers.
"This gives us a board which can provide continuity moving into the future and can focus on some aspirations and development goals we have while allowing the management committee to put their full efforts into the day-to-day running of the club.
