Highland Boxing Academy (HBA) paid tribute to some of the top fighting talent in the north when they held its annual award ceremony in Inverness last weekend.
A total of 13 awards were presented to seven boxers celebrating the achievements of the club’s athletes over the past 12 months.
Inverness fighter Jason Russell was the big winner on the night as he picked up six of trophies - including youth boxer of the year, most international caps, critics choice, KO King, hot streak and people’s champion awards.
The teenager has had an incredible season, during which he became the first boxer from Inverness to be crowned British champion at the GB Three Nation Junior and Youth Championships.
