Nairn County are still capable of finishing in the top half of the Highland League table according to manager Ronnie Sharp.

Last Saturday's 3-2 win over Turriff United saw Nairn rise two places to 13th with five games remaining in the campaign.

Ninth-placed Huntly are only five points ahead and Sharp says he is looking for a strong finish to the season after a disappointing campaign that could put them in contention to finish in the top half.

"We need a right good finish," he said.

"We've got some tricky games, there are a lot of teams in the same area.

"It was the same last season, you go from ninth down there is not so much points between a lot of the teams.

"It depends on who can put in a good finish."
