CARL Tremarco said Inverness Caledonian Thistle says his team are now staring at a relegation dog fight after suffering defeat at Dunfermline Athletic.

The 1-0 defeat at East End Park means ICT are now only six points ahead of Dumbarton in the relegation play-off zone after they won 1-0 against Brechin City.

With their dreams of getting back into the Premiership next season fading, Tremarco said they are facing the nightmare prospect of fighting for their championship status.

He said if they do not improve, the prospect of the ICT playing in League One next season is real.

Never mind the play-offs, we need to look behind us," warned Tremarco.
