DOWNIE Peacefully, on Monday, 17th March, 2025, in the excellent care of Castlehill Care Home, Betsy Stewart Downie, formerly of 103 Boswell Road, Inverness, aged 92 years. One-time nurse and keen sportsperson. Dearly loved wife of the late Gordon, much loved mum of Neil, Alistair and Andrew, mother-in-law to Debbie, loving grandmother to Alex and Katie, great-grandmother to Sam and a dear sister. Funeral service on Thursday, 3rd April at 12 noon in Inverness Crematorium. All welcome to attend. Arrangements by William T. Fraser and Son, Culduthel Road, Inverness.
