Inverness police appeal after 10 people taken to hospital following 3-car crash at Scaniport; Police Scotland officers in the Highlands appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage
Police have appealed for witnesses after 10 people were taken to hospital following a three-car crash at Scaniport.
The collision, which involved a black Toyota Prius, grey Landrover Discovery and a white Audi A3, occurred on the B862 Inverness-Dores road at around 8.05pm on Wednesday (April 2).
Police, ambulance and fire crews were all scrambled to the scene following the crash.
The driver of the Toyota was taken to Raigmore Hospital with a serious injury, while their four passengers were also taken to the hospital with a mix of serious and minor injuries.

The Audi driver also suffered serious injuries. They and their four passengers were all taken to hospital, with the passengers later being discharged.
The driver of the Landrover was not injured.
The road was closed and re-opened around 3am on Thursday.
Sergeant Neil MacDonald said: “Our enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing for witnesses.
“If you were in the area and have not already spoken to officers then please get in touch.
“Anyone driving in the area around the time of the crash is asked to check dash-cam and see if they have any information that could assist with our investigation.”
