Motorists travelling through an Inverness housing estate have been warned of two to three weeks of possible disruption.

Footpaths in the Raigmore Estate will be repaired and upgraded early in the new year, but this will require some “pedestrian and traffic management”, Highland Council has advised.

“The scope of works will include improvement of small sections of footway with surface repairs, new drop kerbs and tactile paving at Mackintosh Road, Ashton Road and Churchill Road,” said a council spokesperson.

Work is scheduled to start on Monday, January 6 “and will be completed within two to three weeks”.

Pat Munro is the appointed contractor who will be carrying out the works and the pedestrian and traffic management.
