LOCH NESS-SIDE INCIDENT: 4 people taken to hospital after A82 crash involving cars and pedestrians near the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel between Inverness and Drumnadrochit
Police are appealing for information following a serious crash involving two cars and two pedestrians on the A82.
Four people were taken to hospital following the incident near the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel, located between Inverness and Drumnadrochit.
The incident happened around noon yesterday, and involved two pedestrians, a white Audi A3, and a blue Dacia Duster.

Emergency services attended and one of the pedestrians, a 37-year-old man was taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment where medical staff described his condition as serious but stable.
The other pedestrian - a 61-year-old man - and the 67-year-old male driver and 66-year-old female passenger of the Dacia, were also taken to hospital for assessment.
Part of the road was closed for several hours to allow for investigations to be carried out and reopened at around 4.50pm.
Sergeant Calum MacAulay said: “Our enquiries are ongoing, and I am appealing for anyone who has any information to contact us.
“I would particularly appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the crash or who has dash-cam footage which may assist to get in touch.”
