School’s out for summer! Looking for something to do with your kids over the holidays? Don’t worry we’ve put together a list of FREE activities taking place in Inverness over the next few weeks.

Family Fun Day - The Three Witches - July 1

Running from 10am - 5pm, The Three Witches in Aignish Drive is hosting a family fun day. With a bouncy castle, candy floss machine, face painting and hot filled rolls, this is a one-stop shop for a day out!

The Beach at Eastgate - Daily from 29 June – 2 September
Dive into family fun at the Eastgate’s indoor beach, where the sun always shines, and the sand is always warm! Bring your little ones to build towering sandcastles and enjoy various beach games and activities. Relax with a refreshing drink in hand while watching the kids play.

Tuesday Summer Sessions - Various Locations

Dalneigh Youth Club and Active Schools will be hosting a variety of sessions on Tuesday’s throughout the holidays. Booking is required which can be done by emailing: Shannon.Kelly@highlifehighland.com

July 2 - Various activities at James Cameron Community Cewntre from 11am - 2pm

July 9 - Disc Golf at Torvean Park from 10.30am - 2pm

July 23 - Inverness Crazy Golf - 10.30am - 2pm (limited spaces)

July 30 – Trip to Nairn Beach – 10am - 2.30pm (limited spaces)

Dalneigh youth club is on every Wednesday night for free at James Cameron Community Centre from 7pm-9pm and requires no booking. Open to new S1s-S6s living in the Inverness High School Catchment Area.

Afternoon Kids Club - Cafe 1668 - Every Thursday from July 4

Cafe 1668 on Church Street is teaming up with Action for Children again to bring hot meals and family activities from 2pm to 4pm every Thursday throughout the holidays. Booking must be made through Action for Children.

Lego Club - Culloden Library - July 3 - Aug 26 3.45pm - 4.45pm

Calling all master builders! Lego for kids aged 6-12 and their parent or caregiver. Duplo will be supplied to children under six accompanying older siblings. No booking required, just drop-in. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
