A9 closed at Drumochter after crash

Part of the A9 is closed in both directions at Drumochter after a crash.

UPDATE: Two vehicles involved in Drumochter smash that has closed Inverness to Perth A9 route in both directions

Emergency services have been sent to the scene following the collision.

Traffic Scotland reported the road closure at around 6.30am today.

A spokesperson for Traffic Scotland stated: "Motorists are advised to use an alternative route and should allow for longer than normal journey times."
