Academy Street in Inverness set to be closed for more than 10 days from Monday for gas works

GAS connection works will cause disruption to traffic in Inverness city centre as a street will be closed for almost two weeks, it has been announced.

Highland Council have shared that due to works carried out by company SGN for a new gas connection, Academy Street will be closed for 10 working days starting form next Monday (June 19).

Works are due to start at 8am and end on June 30 at 5pm.

SGN has been contacted for more information on the closure.
