A835 road in Highland closed on both directions following accident near Conon Bridge

A TRUNK road in Ross-shire has been closed this morning following an accident.

Emergency services were called to the B9169 junction, near Conon, this morning.

Two fire appliances from Dingwall and a heavy rescue unit have been sent to the scene.

The road is closed in both directions between Tore and Conon Bridge.

Police are on scene directing traffic.

Motorists are being advised to use an alternative route meantime.
