Audi smash in Inverness cul-de-sac leads to four-figure fine
A woman returning from doing errands for a Covid-suffering friend misjudged the distance between her and another car as she entered a cul-de-sac in Inverness.
Jillian Gall, of Bruce Gardens, Inverness struck an Audi which was parked in the street and the vehicle was extensively damaged, Inverness Sheriff Court was told.

The police were informed and when officers traced her to her home nearby, they routinely asked Gall for a breath sample to check for alcohol.
Fiscal depute Grant McLennan told Sheriff Ian Cruickshank: "She refused the test saying: 'I don't believe I need to. I have not had a drink.'"
Gall admitted careless driving and refusing a breath test.
Sheriff Cruickshank fined her a total of £1375 and endorsed her licence with four penalty points.
