STAR IN THE MAKING: 10-year-old TFX Performing Arts Academy student Sienna Kellacher will be taking a place at the prestigious Scottish Ballet this year
A pupil of TFX Performing Arts Academy will take a place at the prestigious Scottish Ballet Junior Associates in Glasgow.
Sienna Kellacher (10), from Inverness, won her place after auditioning alongside 500 applicants from across the country.
She will now be making the long journey to Glasgow once a month to be part of the ballet programme with the internationally performing company.
A spokesperson for TFX said: "From a tiny tot in Christmas Panto and Melody Bear ballet to elegant ballerina!
"We were absolutely delighted and so proud to learn that our student Sienna Kellacher has gained a place with the Scottish Ballet Junior Associates in Glasgow.
"Sienna was chosen from more than 500 applicants to take part in this prestigious programme and will soon be journeying down south every month for what we’re sure will be the experience of a lifetime.
"Sienna just took her Grade Three ballet exam with TFX, whilst simultaneously devouring elements of the Grade Four and 5 RAD syllabus.
"She has been a busy girl this year, despite the many obstacles – including months on Zoom – and has clearly demonstrated that hard work pays off.
"We can’t wait to see where this takes you and keep helping you grow from strength to strength in class!"
She added: "Thank you to the wonderful teaching team for helping all of our students along their journeys."
