December 2016: Hollywood actress Karen Gillan films in High Street, Inverness.

The search was on for people with an Inverness accent as Hollywood actress Karen Gillan returned to her home city for her directorial debut.

The former Charleston Academy pupil had sprung to fame in her roles as Amy Pond in the BBC's Doctor Who and also as space pirate Nebula in 2014's Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy.

As production began on Tupperware Party which she wrote and played a starring role, Ms Gillan was spotted in the Highland capital.
