BREAKING: Kessock Bridge closed in both directions

Motorists are advised that Kessock Bridge in Inverness is closed due to an ongoing police incident.

Traffic Scotland has shared the news via social media.

A spokesman said: "The A9 Kessock Bridge is currently closed in both directions due to an ongoing police incident.

"Traffic is currently being held on approach to the bridge. Police are currently on scene."
