A crowdfunding page aimed at helping Caley Thistle avoid administration raised just £1200 in the last 24 hours.

The club says it needs to raise £200,000 by Wednesday if it is to avoid falling into administration.

But hopes of hitting that total appear to be faltering, with totals in recent days suggesting they may not reach half that much before time runs out.

The daily totals donated to the GoFundMe page are also slowing, with £1200 in the past 24 hours comparing to around £2300 in the day prior to that, and around £3000 in the 24 hours before that.

The total raised so far stood at £79,718 at the time of writing, up from £78,540 the same time yesterday afternoon.

It is still more than £121,000 shy of the total required. If it is unable to raise £200,000 by Wednesday, October 16, the club says it will be forced to become insolvent and go into administration.

The club’s financial consultant Alan Savage says there are interested parties in Denmark, United Arab Emirates and the United States who are considering making a bid for the club. However, there has been no update since Monday, but meetings are believed to be taking place this week.
