Inverness blood donors sought for Sunday session

A special weekend blood donation session is set to be held in Inverness next weekend.

The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) is looking to welcome 40 donors to the centre based at Raigmore Hospital next Sunday (March 2).

Appointments are available from 9am-11.30am and 12.40pm-2.20pm with both regular donors who haven’t been for a while or first-time donors welcome.

For more information on giving blood and to book an appointment go to www.scotblood.co.uk or call 0345 90 90 999 (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm).

The website also includes a quick-fire questionnaire to check whether you are eligible for donation before making an appointment.

Every donation of blood is capable of helping up to three people in need.
