Police hunting a careless motorist in Inverness have appealed to drivers to check their dashcams for possible footage of the vehicle.

Officers in the Highland capital are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a white Peugeot van “being driven carelessly” on Holm Road, between the Dores Road roundabout and the Essich Road roundabout on Wednesday afternoon between 3pm and 3.15pm.

“If you were in the area around this time, we would urge you to check your dashcam and get in touch with us via 101 or through contact us on our website, quoting ‘crime reference CR/0481942/24’,” said a police spokesperson.
