Having guided teams through some of the most challenging periods, including the COVID-19 pandemic, she brings resilience, knowledge, wisdom, and empathy to her role.

“Louise’s management style reflects the values of the Morar brand—striving for continuous growth and advancement,” a Castlehill spokesperson said.

“At the core of our work is a daily commitment to enriching the lives of our residents, supporting both their physical health and emotional well-being, with kindness, professionalism, and unwavering dedication."

In a recent unannounced visit by the Care Inspectorate, the “meaningful relationships” between staff and residents were recognised, alongside demonstrable evidence of the home's “effective relationships with allied health professionals”.

Inspectors also noted that the home’s environment was clean, comfortable, and homely, and its people were supported by a staff team who “knew them well”.

A spokesperson for the home added: “Castlehill Care Home continues its commitment to delivering exceptional care for their residents with a clear vision for enhancing a purposeful and holistic care environment.

“The home is dedicated to continually uplifting its services through compassion, devotion, and everyday excellence.

“Her experience, insight, and values align closely with the Morar Living ethos—focusing on growth, reliability, and meaningful relationships.

“Her presence further strengthens an already dedicated team, enhancing the home’s ability to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

“With continued investment in people, environment, and service quality, Castlehill Care Home is proudly crafting a radiant, forward-looking future—one built on shared values, collective expertise, and a persistent pursuit of care excellence.”

Facilities also play a key role in enhancing the quality of care, as well as supporting a nurturing lifestyle for our residents.

A newly introduced sensory room – complete with “cutting-edge” massage chairs – offers a tranquil space designed to support emotional wellbeing, particularly for those living with dementia or sensory needs.

The home’s facilities, including a piano bar reception, on-site hair and beauty salon, cinema room, variety of comfortable lounges and private dining areas, further reflect a devotion to providing both comfort and community within the home.
