Chance to try revamped Inverness gym
People living in Culloden and the surrounding area are being invited to get to know the facilities on offer at their local leisure centre when an open day is held there this Saturday.
The Culloden Leisure Centre has been upgraded as part of an ongoing programme to work on gyms across the High Life Highland (HLH) network.
Since the gym reopened after its refit, people using the facility have been able to try an extensive range of new equipment including treadmills and weight machines.
Inverness Provost Glynis Sinclair said: “I’m delighted that the people of Culloden and the surrounding area now have access to improved gym facilities here at the Culloden Leisure Centre.
“I know that many people will be keen to find out more about what is on offer.”
Culloden Leisure Centre manager Richie Hanna said there will also be aqua circuits, yoga, indoor cycling, badminton, table tennis, basketball (for eight to 11-year-olds) and gymnastics (for all primary school age children). Booking is essential for all activities.
