Inverness firm Buddy Cleaning Services to donate PPE to care homes and the homeless during coronavirus pandemic
An Inverness cleaning company is offering protective face masks to the homeless and care homes in the area during the Covid-19 crisis.
Marcin Ostasiewicz, chief executive of Buddy Cleaning Services, said that, with the pandemic set to be around for the foreseeable future, he wants to support the local community.
As well as the face masks he is also offering free disinfection services at properties occupied by those who are aged 65 and over.
He said: "We are offering free of charge disinfection cleaning services for the over 65s who are vulnerable and need support. On top of that we would like to donate 80 personal protective face masks to the homeless and/or residential care homes in the local area."
The masks are Purism KN95 quality protective face masks and Mr Ostasiewicz said: "I am confident that we can get these masks into the community as soon as possible.
"We are currently living in challenging times and I felt it was also important to be a visual presence within the community.
"With this in mind we devised the We’ve Got You Covered initiative to support the local community during these difficult times.
"I feel it is imperative we do all we can to work together as one big community and fight this virus with drive and determination."
