THE TWO 14-year-old missing schoolgirls last seen at Inverness Railway Station, have been traced safe and well in Aberdeen.

Concern was growing for the safety of Zoe Walton and Orla Begg who were reported missing from the Ross-shire area on Tuesday.

In the afternoon they were sighted at the station where it is understood they boarded a train to Aberdeen.

Today the search for the teenagers was concentrated in the Aberdeen area, and during the morning they were found.

Police said the girls were safe and well and a spokesman thanked the public and media for their assistance.

Orla’s concerned cousin Kayleigh Ferguson posted on Facebook earlier: "Orla please come home. You don’t realise how worried our family is."
