A PUBLIC consultation into three projects — priced at £100 million each — has been launched.

Views are being sought by Transport Scotland on two options for a new link road between the A9 and A96; options to dual the A96 between Culloden and Brackley; and a Nairn bypass.

The proposals were on display in Nairn yesterday and will be at Barn Church Village Hall, in Balloch from 2pm to 7pm today.

Maps of the two options for linking the A9 and A96 are below. They both affect residential and business properties in the Inshes area of the city.

Plans of the three potential Nairn bypass routes are also below.

Transport Scotland officials and Highland Council representatives will be available to answer questions at the event and people can comment on the plans. Feedback can also be submitted at the Transport Scotland website.
