A Nairn workshop and yard could be sold if councillors give the proposal their approval.

Members of Highland Council’s Nairnshire area committee will consider a report at a meeting on Monday.

It is proposed that Grant Street workshop, store and yard, in Fishertown, should be disposed of by putting the site up for sale.

Councillors are asked to note the outcome of a recent consultation process and consider whether to agree with the proposal or amend it to include the marketing of the property for lease instead of sale.

Another option is that it could be amended to include the marketing of the property as well as sale or that the proposal should not go ahead.

The workshop and yard are located on Common Good land.
