Donations from M&S Inverness and Morrisons are feeding families across the Highlands
Inverness Foodstuffs and the Inverness Salvation Army are continuing to receive donations from supermarkets to provide families with hot meals and essentials that they would otherwise be without.
Organisers from the Inverness Eastgate Centre branch of M&S said it was "very proud" to support local charities with donations of its surplus food.
On social media, a spokeswoman for M&S Inverness said: "Across the UK we’ve donated over 21 million meals so far to people in need through our food redistribution programme.
"At M&S Inverness we’re proud of the role we play in our local community and we’re continuing to contribute where we can.
"When we have surplus food our absolute priority is for it to end up on someone’s plate and working with our partner Neighbourly, we’ve been able to support local charities and community groups like Inverness Foodstuff and Inverness Salvation Army to help people who need it the most. "
A spokeswoman for the Inverness Salvation Army said: "We are very grateful for all your donations which go to the many people we give food to weekly. Thank you, M&S Inverness!
Meanwhile, Morrisons Inverness Community Champions have continued to make donations to charitable donations to organisations such as Inverness Foodstuffs.
On the group's Facebook page, a spokeswoman for Inverness Foodstuff said: "You have done us proud, once again."
