Emergency repairs have started on the Greig Street Bridge in Inverness.
Emergency repairs have started on the Greig Street Bridge in Inverness.

Emergency repairs have now started on a busy pedestrian bridge in Inverness city centre.

Greig Street bridge is set to be to closed for the next three weeks while the essential work is carried out.

The repairs involve a section of the deck on the bridge. Part of the structure has recently been cordoned off.

Pedestrians are advised to use an alternative route via Huntly Street, Ness Bridge and Bank Street.
