There are reports that a fire in Inverness is connected to a tumble drier in a dressing room at Clachnacuddin Football Club's ground.

A spokesman with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it received a call shortly after 9.20am this morning and four appliances and two jets were sent to the scene.

They are confirmed still there.

Police are also in attendance to support with the closure of Thornbush Road at the junction with Wyvis Place, extending to the junction with Kilmuir Road.

They said the nature of the blaze is not being treated as suspicious, however it is unknown how long the road closure will be in place.
