Fan Opinion: Kenny Cameron's thoughts after Caley v Airdieonians
Inverness Caledonian Thistle slipped to their 6th consecutive defeat in all competitions after losing to newly promoted Airdrieonians 2-1 on Saturday.
The result leaves the Caley Jags rock bottom of the Scottish Championship with no points on the board, continuing a concerning run of form for Billy Dodds and his team.
Attending the game in Airdie on Saturday was Kenny Cameron (21), from Lochardil in Inverness.
A lifelong fan of the club, Kenny has been attending matches since he was 8 and has had a season ticket with the club since he was 10, and even had a brief spell as a ball boy at the club when he was in his teens.
Going into the match Kenny lacked confidence and his fears were proven almost immediately with Caley conceding within the first minute of the match.
"I said before the game that looking at the Airdrie players drills before the game they looked sharper which says it all when all they were doing was making 5 yard passes.
"It was another two errors for the two goals, first goal saw players dragged out of position and an unlucky but good finish from Harper into the bottom corner and after that we didn’t look like creating anything.
"A Duffy pop from about 30 yards that hit the back of the stands summed up our attacking up to their 2nd goal, with another defensive error this time from Devine."
Kenny failed to find many positives during the match, but did commend the workrate of new signing Luis Longstaff and added to the recent praise many have had for academy product Keith Bray.
"I've seen a lot of stick to Longstaff but he creates our goal and has a gamble with the move which worked.
"Keith Bray has come into this team and looked like a perfect fit and whether that shows how good the youth system is or how bad the first team is is up for debate but that is definitely a positive."
Kenny spoke after the game saying he has never been so concerned with the look of the Caley side in his time supporting them than he is at the moment.
"I spoke to a lot of people on the supporters bus of all age groups and they all agreed that this is the worst team they’ve ever seen and I would have to reiterate that I agree with that opinion.
"Individually we have some good players and good talents but put them together and we get nothing."
Looking forward Kenny has identified strengthening the defence as the most important issue on the pitch, while also wanting criticism accepted off the pitch.

"There is a lack of leadership, lack of key signings, and a lack of structure on and off the pitch, with players making the same carbon copy mistakes week in week out.
"It's okay if Devine isn’t that loud defender type captain as that’s just his nature and I think the pressure of having to be might be a reason towards some of his errors, we have to bring in support immediately.
"There seems to be a lot of fragile egos behind the scenes and any criticism is met with fingers in the ears and humming, responsibility needs accounted for."
