Festive songs from White Christmas to Handel’s Messiah to feature 4-hour charity Carolthon in Inverness shopping centre
Christmas shoppers in Inverness will be treated to a varied programme of festive songs during a four-hour Carolthon for charity.
The annual fundraiser staged by the Inverness Choral Society will take place in the Eastgate Shopping Centre on December 14 between 11am and 3pm.
The money raised will be divided between the choral society and this year's partner charity, Highland and Islands Blood Bikes.

Highland and Islands Blood Bikes works closely with NHS Highland and provides vital transport throughout the area and beyond for medical consignments - anything from urgent laboratory samples to donor breast milk for newborn babies.
The service is run solely by volunteers including drivers, bikers and controllers and has a fleet of motorbikes, a car and a van.
Over the years, the Inverness Choral Society has raised about £76,000 for local charities from the Carolthon.
Members will perform a wide variety of seasonal music from White Christmas to excerpts from Handel's Messiah.
