Highland firm fears Brexit will result in a skills shortage and increase in labour costs
MacGregor Industrial Supplies has outlined its concerns about Brexit in its latest accounts.
The former Highland business of the year believes it will impact services it offers.
It stated in a report accompanying its accounts filed with Companies House: “The decision of the UK to leave the European Union has led to uncertainty with regards to supply of labour.
“The company is a proud employer of staff from countries all around the EU who work hard and have a range of highly regarded skills.
“There are many companies, around the area in which the company operates, in a similar position. The loss of supply of the EU labour force will result in a skills shortage and an increase in labour costs.
“This will affect some of the services the company offers."
