Four fire units attend A82 crash near Loch Ness

FOUR Inverness fire units including the heavy lift tender were called to a two vehicle crash on the Inverness to Fort William road this afternoon. (Thu)

The emergency services received 999 calls at about 12.50pm from the Dochgarroch area on the A82 trunk road.

This route, like others across the region, has been hit by heavy squalls of rain sleet and snow throughout the day, although it is not known if this was a factor in this crash.

Police posted on Facebook that the road was closed and urged drivers to stay away from the area.
