Head-on crash at Inverness bridge

A head-on collision at an Inverness bridge is causing traffic to build up in the area.

It is understood nobody was injured in the accident at Tomnahurich swing bridge at around 4.50pm today, involving a car and a van.

The Torvean swing bridge is currently out of action due to a mechanical issue which Highland Council is trying to fix.

Police were sent to the scene of the crash.
