Highland Council advise motorists of extended road closure in Inverness to complete resurfacing works
Motorists in Inverness have been advised of an extension to resurfacing works which has resulted in the closure of Haugh Road throughout this week.
Highland Council say the stretch of the B0862 will remain closed between Saturday March 29 and Monday March 31 during the hours of 8am and 5pm “in the interest of public safety” while contractors carry out the work.
A temporary road closure had previously been announced by the local authority, to last from Monday March 24 until tomorrow (March 28).
A Highland Council spokesperson said: “An extension to the temporary road closure of B0862 Haugh Road shall be in operation on Saturday 29 March and Monday 31 March 2025 and shall only apply between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
“This has been required in the interest of public safety to enable a contractor, working on behalf of Highland Council, to carry out resurfacing works within the public road”.
