Fire alarm sparks evacuation of hotel in Inverness

GUESTS were briefly evacuated from a hotel in Inverness on Friday morning after a fire alarm went off.

Two fire engines were spotted outside the Premier Inn in Millburn Road shortly after 8am following the alarm.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the incident was a false alarm and the crews were stood down shortly afterwards.
