Inverness Ice Centre has hosted its inaugural Whisky Over Ice festival.
The event was part of a series of off-ice events to raise funds for the centre and help combat rising costs of energy consumption.
More than 200 whisky enthusiasts attended the festival with more than 15 whisky distillers present from across Scotland, including local distilleries GlenWyvis and Benromach.
Scottish Whisky Auctions and the Real Drink Company supported the festival with a special limited edition, eight-year-old Glenfarclas whisky created for the event. Attendees were able to purchase a bottle at the event and 600 bottles have been made available with the label, Whisky Over Ice.
The ice centre’s next event will be the Thriller in the Chiller boxing attraction tomorrow. Plans are also under way for a Winter Christmas market.
