Inverness basks in sunshine with temperatures set to rise – 7 pictures

YOUNGSTERS took the opportunity to cool off as they enjoyed the sunshine while on their Easter holidays.

Temperatures hovered around 15 degrees this afternoon and are expected to rise ahead of the weekend.

Forecasts suggest it could be 17 degrees tomorrow, peaking to 20 degrees on Good Friday before slightly dropping to 19 degrees on Saturday then to 15 degrees on Easter Sunday.

If it reaches 20 degrees, then it would be Inverness's hottest day so far this year.
