Inverness's annual Easter Egg Hunt is moving online this year.

Inverness BID has organised two Easter competitions this weekend to enjoy at home.

It has run the Great Easter Egg Hunt in the city centre for the past 11 years, but during the coronavirus outbreak it has had to put it online.

The first competition is geared towards youngsters with a separate Easter Quiz suitable for those who are slightly older, including adults.

Children are invited to design their own Easter eggs and sending a photo of the finished egg displayed in their window.

Photos can either be emailed to info@inverness.uk.com or uploaded to BID's Facebook page.

Two prizes will be awarded to the chosen winners.

The second competition, the Great Easter Quiz, is a virtual Easter Egg hunt.

The Easter Bunny has been hiding eggs in Inverness City Centre and people are being asked to name the shops he has been to.

Residents are also asked to have a go at BID's online quiz of cryptic clues and see how many they can guess – there are no restrictions on how many you need to answer.

Two winners will be selected and each will receive a £20 Eastgate Centre voucher.

The competition can be accessed here.
