THE Inverness Castle tower viewpoint has already proven popular with the new tourist attraction now fully booked for the next few days.
The viewpoint was officially opened on Monday by the last family to call the castle their home.
The ribbon to mark its official opening was cut by 75-year-old Isobel Taylor, who lived in the castle with her children and husband James from 1969 to 1995 when he was a caretaker and court officer there.
All slots to the top are now fully booked until the end of the week, with charges coming into effect after Friday.
From this weekend it will cost £5 for adults and £3 for children with booking no longer required.
