Businesses invited to take part in latest Inverness Chamber of Commerce online webinar during coronavirus pandemic
Inverness Chamber of Commerce has announced its latest webinar – Your Business, Your Voice – which will take place on Thursday next week between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
It is open to all businesses and anyone who is interested in taking part is urged to register here by 5pm on Wednesday – a link for the Zoom webinar will be sent out shortly before the session starts.
Participants are invited to join Stewart Nicol, the chamber's chief executive, and Dr Liz Cameron, the chief executive of Scottish Chambers of Commerce, to discuss the action and successes so far in the face of coronavirus.
The session will also ask: what else does business need now, how should we be planning the recovery stages post Covid-19, what could that look like and what would governments need to do to enable the re-energising and reforming of the Highland economy?
During the session there will be opportunity for participants to share their views and raise questions.
Paula Nicol, the deputy chief executive of the Inverness Chamber of Commerce, said: "The chamber of commerce network plays a vital role in influencing government on key issues affecting the business community.
"Since the onset of Covid-19 and the resulting impact on the country’s economy, Inverness Chamber of Commerce has been working with colleagues at Scottish Chambers of Commerce to ensure that the issues and concerns of Highland businesses are heard and recognised at the highest levels of government decision making."
