A Nairn business has 'saved the day' for an Inverness charity.

Maisies Wishes is due to hold a Race Night tomorrow evening (Friday 5) at The Waterside in Inverness, however, there were fears that it would have to be cancelled if no-one could be found to host it and DJ. After an appeal on social media, Xplosive Entertainments has stepped in to help.

The charitable organisation has been set up in honour of Maisie Fraser who was diagnosed with a rare and incurable liver cancer – fibrolamellar carcinoma – in December 2020, and sadly passed away last year. The charity aims to raise awareness of teenage cancer and fundraise to help others as were Maisie's wishes.
