Inverness Courier shortlisted for Scottish Press Awards title in Glasgow
The Inverness Courier is celebrating after it was shortlisted for a prestigious title in this year’s Scottish Press Awards.
It has is in contention to defend the weekly newsbrand of the year award - which showcases its website, app, newsletters and print editions - which is won last year.
Highland News and Media’s politics reporter Scott Maclennan might also retain his weekly journalist of the year title which he collected last time around.

Also shortlisted in that category is Moray-based colleague Lewis McBlane, who was runner-up in that section last May.
Overseen by Newsbrands Scotland, winners will be announced in Glasgow on May 22.
